Experience

I have no previous tutoring experience, unfortunately. I just returned from Thailand to become certified to teach English as a foreign language, so I sort of caught the teaching bug. I want to tutor because I enjoy spending time with kids and young adults, and I want to pay it forward. I had tutors in college when I struggled with certain subjects, and they did wonders for me. I would like to help those who need it and be a mentor. I want to let students know that they should never give up, and that having a tutor is one of the most helpful things.

Hobbies

My hobbies and interests are aplenty. I enjoy sports (I played softball through college and volleyball through high school). I also helped coach my college softball team this past season. I am very active and enjoy the outdoors. Traveling is an interest of mine; I have gone to Munich, Prague, and Thailand so far, and plan on expanding on those experiences. I love to read and write and aspire to be published one day, and I love making friendship bracelets. My dog is one of my best friends, and I love all animals. Also, I am a human garbage can, meaning that I love food and I eat a lot of it.
